SOCIOLOGICKO-PSYCHOLOGICKÉ ASPEKTY RELIGIOZITY V KONTEXTE PÔSOBENIA SIEKT
Abstract. Despite the society we live in, which is a civilization built on technology and science, even today we see the growth of various cults and sects. These sects many times, even though they have a common basis with the official religious stream in society, somehow separated themselves and created their own theology. We investigated the causes that lead to the formation of new religious movements, what factors within the socio-cultural transformation they do not influence. We have explored the various aspects that lead people to new religious movements and religious sects. In the review work, we described the ways in which an individual’s departure from the sect is realized, as well as the need for his resocialization.
