POROVNÁVACIA ANALÝZA OBČIANSKEHO ZÁKONNÍKA Z HĽADISKA LINGVISTICKÝCH A SÉMANTICKÝCH ZMIEN A JEHO PERSPEKTÍVY

Abstract. Text of the abstract. The aim of the presented article is to identify and analyze linguistic and semantic changes in the texts of the Civil Code, with emphasis on their developmental nature and potential implications for future legal practice. The author approaches the issue through a comparative analysis of the historical and current versions of the Code, utilizing tools of quantitative linguistics and computer-based text analysis. The article is structured into two main parts. In the first, theoretical part, the author presents the development of the Civil Code in the years 1964, 1993, and 2024. She highlights key historical, social, and economic chan-ges that significantly influenced the shaping of the language of the Civil Code and led to the creation of the current version, which is presently undergoing public consultation. In the analytical part, a quantitative ana-lysis is conducted using the Qui-taUpu application, which enables the calculation of selected stylometric indicators that characterize the given texts and reveal potential deficien-cies. The SAS software system is also employed to provide visualizations of the statistical evaluation of linguis-tic data. The obtained data will be used for the comparison and evaluation of the given texts.
